Yes I agree.

Sounds like good advice about mic placement.

The great thing about all this is we don't have to shell out as often for guitar strings. The sand in the ointment is getting old strings to sound in tune. (my problem anyway)

I'm a personal believer that any sort of acoustic can be used for any sort of genre, regardless of body type and wood combinations. But if you really want something that a lot of people use for folk
