Very innovative thinking! You have 2 parts, one part with the noise and one part with heavy guitars. If you keep the noise at the end with the heavy guitars, I think you will get an even stronger impact!

How the heck do you get those crazy guitar sound?! ha ha. Do you use modeling or amps? around :25 before everything kicks in the brittle drum you have going on sounds a bit harsh on these headphones.. I know you're going for brittle. and it may just be these phones.and again may be these $2 headphones but overall the mix sounds just a bit harsh.. maybe in the 5-10k range.sugary huh? maybe with a shot of whiskey thrown in ha ha... or maybe it's just HARD candy?!great work as always.

Thanks Patrick... I don't think it's Ur headphones... This is gonna be a tricky song to get right, production wise...The harsh sounds are what creates the energy burst effect in the Chorus parts & if I try to tame em... it may not work that way...Think I might have to re-record all guitar parts for this one...As for my guitar sounds... I record them as per normal thru Amplitube but after that I run them thru as many different filters as I possibly can find and then finally run them through either Amplitube or Gtr Rig again... hmmm... yea, full on processing... I like the idea of making a guitar not sound like a guitar or maybe just an excuse to cover up my bad playing I will give it a try what U suggest cutting 5-10k first... if not re-record... Thanks for the feedback man!mmmmmm... HARD candy... heheh!-Kel

My suggestion would be to add low end on 60 thru 250hz. Try about 5 db. That seems to help balance out the perceived harshness. -Randy
