I found this article very interesting. I really enjoyed the author's deep philisophical views on sad songs, especially in metal genres (I am not a metal fan per se, but always wondered at the many sub-genres of metal, metal heads more than any other music fan, seem to be aware of and embrace a detailed subgenre family tree of metal music).
I thought some of you others might also enjoy it.
