International Royalties

Post by ronnie35 » Tue Dec 15, 2020 4:18 pm

Hi Hopefully a more experienced composer can give me some insight on how long it takes to get Royalties from an international placement. So when I go on my A.S.C.A.P account it states that I have a total international earning of $76.34 the countries are the Netherlands, and Australia. The 3rd quarter $58.74 and 4th quarter $17.60 it says a payment date of 11/9/2020 should I have received it I am a little confused with international statements

Hi Ron! Unfortunately, it takes a long time (sometimes over a year) and the statement only provides rudimentary information (such as "FILM" or "TV") as to the actual international placements (I am with BMI but I assume ASCAP is no different).
Cheers,
Matt
