Introduce Yourself.....right on.
Hello everyone. My name is T.R. Hill. I joined TAXI about a month ago, and just now joined the forums. I'm still getting my bearings around the site, but I'm really excited about the opportunities. I'm a composer mainly interested in film and TV placement. I've always been interested in MIDI sequencing and recording. I played in bands for many years, and at the same time I was always working on my "cheesy" little instrumental songs on my MIDI gear. After being told several times that my music sounded like a car commercial. I decided to quit pursuing the rock star dream and start pursuing the car commercial composer dream. I'm learning a lot already on the site both through the forums and the articles. I've sold a few songs here and there through Productiontrax, and by word of mouth. But now I'm searching for the big Production Music Library placements. I'm looking forward to participating in the discussions here and I'm exciting to get to know everyone.

Some car commercial tracks really rock so don't give up on the chops and production skills yet. You're right... it's a great forum, fun and educational. Dave
