And the "other stuff" is something I'm working on for my own amusement, which sounds like it's not that big of a deal, when it's the other way around.
The "other stuff" is full scale songs that I care about whereas the SongsFromTheLab is stuff I'm willing to cut corners off of to get from A to B on TAXI etc.
So the other stuff is on the back burner for a while

I too make very personal music, but it's of course one of several sides of me. I assume you might recognize that feeling.
Licensing is very interesting but often not the full picture of who one is as a person or even as an artist/musician/composer etc. I feel it, and I bet many of us might.
That said, I think Michael is giving really good path-finding advice how to successfully relate to tracks for licensing.

oh, and I did take a listen to your vintage pop/rock tracks, Paul. Hope it was ok!
Some lovely songwriting and even fitting mixing style for the genre, I felt. Although I'm not an expert in those.
