Is my music good enough for Taxi?

Post by miksmusic » Wed Mar 16, 2011 12:49 pm

Hi all,

I joined Taxi about a year ago seeing many listings with ala's like Air, Depeche Mode, etc. Made about a dozen of submissions but no luck so far.

I guess I'm just looking for some kind of indication from more experienced members as to whether my tracks are anywhere close to what actually gets licensed..

You can listen to some songs here: http://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home.p ... =miksmusic

Thanks in advance for your time and comments!

Cheers

Hi Miks,

I the link you gave takes me to my own taxi page. I tried to enter different urls relating to taxi but no luck.

Couldn't get to your taxi page.

Sorry....

You must log out, then navigate to your TAXI page as a guest, then copy that and post it in the thread or better yet, post it in the signature section as I have done.

That allows anyone to access your TAXI music every time.

Yeah, I think it fits. Dusty Memories would be good for film. Might benefit from a piano, though, imo.

April Sky has elements that would work well in 30 sec commercials. Not so sure about as one entire piece, though. It kinda loses momentum.

Sounds like with your influences you could concentrate on advertising. Best of luck.

Yeah, I'd say you're on the right track. Nice sounding tracks!
Best of luck!
