Is my style right for TAXI?
I have debated whether or not to join TAXI for a long time and am now seriously considering it.I am a little worried, though, that the majority of opportunities available are not in alignment with my bands music style - industrial rock (sort of Nine Inch Nails crossed with modern Bowie).I persused the listings that are linked to from the TAXI.com page and there was only one - for a Rob Zombie type song - that seemed appropriate for our stuff. So I put the question to you guys...before I decide to jump in with this investment...do you think this is a place for our type of music? Thanks!

If you are a band, looking for a record deal, rather than pitching songs, then you only need one listing, if it is right, right? I don't know how many there are for your music, but it seems like I have seen a few. There will be some listings appropriate for music libraries and such as well, so it depends on what you want.

Dax,have you signed up to receive the listings by email? You can do that without actually joining, you'll get the listings (but obviously won't be able to submit until you join). My best advice is to observe the listings over a period of time and see what comes up.I remember quite a few harder rock listings in the past...but these things go in phases, it's all down to what the labels are looking for at any given time or what's being produced out in film and tv land.matto

We definitely are interested in licensing opportunities though.
