Is this an appropriate question?
Hard to ask that kind w/o taking a chance on looking bad. Here goes:I have lyrics. I like them. Others have liked some of them, at least.I don't play an instrument yet. I don't have enough music theory skills to compose, digitally or otherwise yet. I DO have melodies in my head for my songs. At present, I don't have the funds to invest in either taxi membership or professional demos. Are there any current members out there who would be interested in concepts with lyrics and some musical foundation with regard to specific listings? From what I've seen of demo pricing, I'm sure I could swing 1/2 the cost. If someone out there wanted to do a 50/50 by providing half the demo cost and the composition part I'd be thrilled. Is that a reasonable way to work? Is that sort of thing likely? I very passively suggested it here before a couple of times and wonder if my lyrics are not compelling enough or if it's my salesmanship, or something else altogether.I certainly would appreciate opinions. Thanks, lyricboy

Hey Lyricboy,I think that is certainly a reasonable way to work and it is likely that you can find someone to collaborate with. I would suggest mentioning what type of music that you write and also posting a link to lyrics for a song or two and also consider responding to musicians seeking lyricists to work with. Good luck!
