Is this French enough?

Post by crs7string » Mon Oct 08, 2007 8:28 am

I'm submitting this:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... stream=1To this:A wide variety of great, original, and authentic-sounding EUROPEAN WORLD/ETHNIC SONGS & INSTRUMENTALS sought by an established Music Library/Publisher that has worked with TAXI for years. They exclusively supply songs/tracks to numerous Cable TV shows -- mostly cooking and travel shows -- and need new material to meet their clients' needs. English vocals are OK as are other European languages (French, German, Italian, etc.). Great performances are essential. This company typically offers exclusive deals. Your songs must be Broadcast Quality (excellent sounding home recordings are OK). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics (and lyrical translations). All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Oct. 15, 2007.Any feedback is welcome.Chuck

You got me on the French thing but it definitely sounds European-ish. It has moments where it almost sounds a little like Russian music (or Gypsy music, the slower stuff) but heck, that's good for a travel show.....I bet they'll want something that covers some bases there. Good job!!
