I'm Bruno Amadori, from Argentina, a big country at South America. I'm 24 and I started this adventure of composing music at 15, with my first rock band. I play guitar, bass, I sing and play some keys. I'm about to get a grade in sound engineering (hopeful by the end of this year when I present my final work).
Three months ago, I was doing some personal journaling, writing and trying to clarify my mind everyday. But there was one morning that was different. I was really sharp and clear about what I wanted. I wanted to live as a full time musician, no matter the cost. I wanted a musical lifestyle. Since I stated this choice, things started to change. I got fired from my low-paid work that same afternoon, hours after taking this decision! (not exaggerating!, this was a low paid work as a sound technician at a very popular local theater) and the economical needs started to chase me, pushing me to take some hardcore action. I'm a versatile guy, I can work as a freelancer graphic designer, as a freelancer website developer (php, html, css, js), as a sound operator at radio stations, venues, etc... But I wanted to go full musical, NO MATTER THE COST, lol.
Long things short, It has been three months of this and I can't be more grateful. I found TAXI TV on youtube while searching for information about how to live as a production music composer and things are starting to get better and better. I downloaded a looot of those videos to listen to them as podcasts while I travel. At the same time I started working as a busker 5 times per week, 2hs a day at the local metro playing music for the passengers and winning the same amount I was winning at my former work. People really appreciate the value I give, and I really feel HEALED everytime I finish my work routine. I work as a sound engineer for a lyrical pop singer too, which is a work that I enjoy a lot.
Right now I can say that I figured a way to pay my expenses in music related ways and a "5 year plan" (LOL) to adquire financial independence through music. I feel VERY GRATEFUL to TAXI guys for exposing the nature of this system. I have a very humble "lifestyle" because money is tight but I can say that I'm happy.
Speaking of productoin: I'm releasing 1-2 tracks per week, currently studying hip hop cues. I want to have a nice folder called "hip hop" so I can confidently submit to hip hop listings. At the same time I'm starting to produce for RF libraries to earn some money at the short term (corporate, happy upbeat music, mostly).
Thanks for reading guys and I wish you the best on this musical journey!!
