Itroducing myself ( friend of Nick Moxsom)

Post by SAMPLESTATION » Sat Nov 12, 2016 6:14 am

Hello , my name is Paul Eastham, i am currently working with my good friend nick Moxsom out here in Denmark. Nick has been talking about how great the taxi community is and after listening to some of my orchestral stuff as well as songwriting he suggested I start posting on here.
The first track is from a concept album I wrote called "Prisoner of war ". its a piano orchestral piece and was wondering how syncable this kind of stuff might be and what may need to change?

Humble regards,

Hi Paul.
Welcome to the club. Loved that piece.
Nick is brilliant and I am sure he will have told you that someone with your talent should have no trouble getting forwards and placements through Taxi.
Go for it.
All the best,
Steve

Any friend of Nick's... well... is a friend of Nick. :?
Welcome aboard, Sir! :? 8-)
It can be a bit fun around this neighborhood, if you don't watch out.

Wow. Even over the laptop speakers, I can hear the quality. Lovely structure and pacing; I'd consider this classically-influenced pop, because of the song structure and what I theenk is some subtle use of analog synth pads. One of the flutes sounds a little "synthy", too, but again, I'm not on the big monitors, so it's a little hard to judge. The composition is great and very syncable, imo.

Hi guys thanks for the feedback :) Aye its an interesting comment regarding the Irish flute there as it actually a real one that I recorded. there is of course reverb and delay going on with it too so maybe it need to be a bit more dry and upfront :)
Food for though but thanks for the comments :)
