Just got my first forward!

My song "Perfect With You" was forwarded to Listing S150918SS, my first one! I've been a member since August and, for the record, had nine returns before this forward. In retrospect I see why they were all rejected and completely agree with the feedback I got; it was a matter of reading the listings more carefully and discovering where my music fit in, really.

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement and say thank you to Screener 299!

Great song, really well done. Reminds me of that song ( So you had a bad day ). I don't know if that was the title, but that's what I remember. Great job. I think it took me well over a year before I got my first forward, so you are doing really well. It's really nice to get that first forward, it's all in knowing what listing to submit to.

A couple of newbie questions: I was surprised they sent me a certificate telling me who it was forwarded to; for some reason I assumed that information would be held until they decided to reach out for a placement. I'm glad they told me, but I still just need to sit tight, right? I don't reach out and contact them or do anything else, do I? I understand a forward doesn't necessarily mean a placement, of course; just making sure I'm not supposed to be doing anything else. If they decide to use my song, will they contact me via Taxi or via email/phone?

Yes, at this point you wait. If they decide to use your song they will contact you directly via email/phone.
