BumpI decided to bump this old thread and see about some more comments... I may have a chance to have the song re-recorded and/or re-mixed and there are a lot of things I like about it. I would fix the lyrical gaffes (e.g. "person" issues)...Thanks! Casey

Hey dude I like this.As for your question I'll approach it like this.I think what you are are saying in a song and how you want to say it determines the format.I don't believe the ABAB format should be precluded because on this song it works.One of the problems writers have with the ABAB is they don't get their title across because there's no repetitive chorus,but you solved that by excellent title placement in the lyric.No one would have a problem remembering the title to this song.My own personal take is for a different ending.I would love to hear it go out with the harmonies you used in the B sections repeating KELLY ANN.

I may be in the minority but the song did not grab me Bro. I never heard a hook. I know you said it is not at the top of your list and I agree. I like some of your other stuff, Painfully Single for example. I remembered the hook after one listening but on this song, I can not remember anything about it.As far as the other ABAB stuff, I don't pay attention to that. Whatever grabs me, grabs me.
