Just a note to inform you that at last,''Kontakt3/Logic 8'' problem has been solved.Kontact 3, which by the way, I am finding out what a wonderful sampler it is (in my opinion), was running on 'Rosetta' all along, that is why he was asking for re-activation. Once I unchecked the appropriate box, has been working great ever since. Also the Logic audio engine has been working fine.Thanks for all the great help I got from the board.RegardsTINO

Tino,Glad to hear problem finally solved. What is "Rosetta"? That kinda' sucks that one little check marked box caused all of those probelms. In any event, glad to hear it's not a problem anymore. Happy sampling!ibanez468

Rosetta is Apples way of allowing certain programs written for the Power PC chipset to run on Intel chipsets. (Emulation) None of the Pro Apps (Logic being one of them) were supported in Rosetta.

You are absolutely right ibanez!!Lots of head aches for noting when it would have been so easy for NI to put a note about it so to save me three weeks of hassles!!Kouly your explanation is spot on!
