"Last Straw" for the NiN ChemBro listing

Post by stevepurdie » Tue Jun 21, 2011 9:43 pm

Hi Guys !!

It's called "Last Straw": you can all find it on my taxi page.

I processed all my guitars through synth filters and resonators so it actually sounds like really heavy synths, but I went for a really simple beat.

Let me know what u guys think.

Cheers,

Stevo

Man, that is just brutal. I really dig the pulsing (sidechained?) bass bit. Great track.

Hey Stevo

Listened to all 3 tracks you have up and liked 'em all - As for The Last Straw really like the energy and how the song builds and then hits you. Really like when it drops down and has the drum bits and then pulls back up into that strong energy, I think you could get it into those parts quicker - but maybe that wouldn't work with the build.

Hey Kev,

thanks man, much appreciated....I was trying to bring those build-up in quicker, but without having a sudden drop in the music, it was difficult to keep "flow" of the song with the jump....I will play around with it a little and let you know.

have a great day guys,

Stevo
