Thanks. I have decided to go with the 27" imac, 8 gigs RAM, and the i7 processor. I heard about the i7 running but as I checked more into it, it looks like that happens on the macpro which has a different i7 technology.
I'm not sure what you mean about "partitioned Hard Drives."
Latency using digital piano?
