Levels too low?

You sure the screener didn't simply mean the VOCAL level was too low?

The recording box was checked and the screener wrote "For a broadcast quality pitch, I felt the levels were a bit too low for use."

That's it. What that says to me is that this recording is not broadcast quality.

"Levels too low" doesn't make sense if you take this song as a whole. Sounds loud enough to me. With all the processing that brodcasters put their audio through, I seriously doubt they'd pass on a track like this just because it wasn't loud enough. When I hear the word "levels" it means specific elements to me. Like Casey said, maybe the screener thought the vox was too buried in parts and just forgot to insert the word "vocal" before "levels."
