Hi Dean First of all....I think this song has a very nice melody....listened a few times and it grows on you more and more.re: Title.... difficult..... my first thought is "How Beautiful" leaves slightly more down to the imagination (ie: what's that song going to be about?)....ie: possibly more interesting. Perhaps it is also less common than 'La Vita e bella' ! But it obviously has to be the best fit for your song. Those were my thoughts.I think the production would benefit from more realistic sounds eg, piano/drums but I realize we're all working with what we have etc... perhaps add some bass too? the lead vocal seems quite loud to me but that could be me.I'm wondering whether it would benefit the song if the backing vocals were slightly more consistent throughout the song? Maybe you are building them up gradually throughout each chorus but each chorus seems different. I think the lead vocal is sung with great feeling/singing the story but occasionally the backing vocals lack conviction (eg "open up your eyes").I think the area where you say the song has 2 versions seems to stutter a little (song flow is lost) - I anticipate a key change....then I don't....then I do......and I lost the flow a bit in that area. Now this may definitely be me ....... the line:- "Trees grow tall for squirrel to climb" made me think that there is one special squirrel out there!!! - I would have naturally written the plural squirrels??They were all the things that came to mind...I think that a stronger production would make this song shine......nice song / concept / melody. Hey D,1.I think this song is suited for either a female vocalist or either a jazz singer (somehow I picture Natt King Cole's voice over this).2. The song is very melodic, It has potential, I think some of the lyrics need a look overe.g. Trees grow tall for squirrel to climbA good friend hears with open mindMaybeTrees grow tall for squirrels to climb,A good friend listens with an open mind I did sing both lyrics with the same melody you have in the song and they fit, but then again you are the creator and I'm just givin advice...(not sure if this is the final mix, but you might wanna drop out the vocal part after he sings Knowledge it sounds like he's got the sniffles as he comes back in) :c)Take Care and Good Luck Brad

Thanks Brad, Rachel,We took out the sniffles (good catch, Brad) ........ also Chris re-did the "open your eyes " bv's ....... we are considering making chorus 1 and 2 the same .. bvs .. but we kinda like how the build is working for "this song" .. know what you mean though.Thanks for the lyric input. Thinking about that. Note: squirrel or squirrels .. both are plural. I thought squirrel sounded cool/right/unique in this song, but .... I could be wrong.Dean

I didn't like the piano sound sounded too colourless, empty.Lovely song though, both titles are kinda corny to be hones, I think this song has some elements of cristian pop or something like that, just add some religious words here and there, and you can pitch it there.Life is beutiful becomes God/christ is beautiful, and you got it

Yeah that is strange.... actually... Broadjam does work for me at work but it takes around 10 minutes before the song actually starts playing, Taxi just doesn't bother loading the songs and times out...
