http://www.taxi.com/lunaumbra takes you to my page, so just substitute Lunaumbra with your "name" and you should be good to go. How to link to a particular song... I haven't done that yet. Dig into the forums, this has been asked and answered in the past.Good Luck.Fog

Re: Link to music at Taxi
Hey Bob,The way I link to my songs on my Taxi page is as follows. Use this as the templatehttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=xxxxxx&stream=trueGo to your Taxi hosting page. Put the mouse pointer over the play button of the song you want to link to. On the bottom left of the page you'll see something like ..........('/stream/xxxxxx/......of course xxxxxx is a six digit number. Take this number and substitute it into the xxxxxx of the template above and you should be all set. Maybe there's a better way but that's how I do it. HTH.Derek

Derek, do your songs have to be open for public viewing for this to work? Some music links from this site downloads a MP3 file to my desktop, others launch a media player and some do what I suggested above that takes you to the artist page.I am slightly confused about all this myself, but I haven't really offered up too many links to my music so it hasn't really been an issue for me... yet.Fog

Thanks Der llama,I've followed your instructions and it works a treat! using this method means downloading the track to the desktop via m3u. I've noticed that some links take you to a Quicktime player that plays the track on another explorer window or tab, does anyone know how to achieve this? I'd be interested to know.Thanks.

hmmm!! Strange. I know when I use this method on my site it invokes a media player..But I do not allow downloads. As a guess I'd see if you're allowing downloads of your songs, if so then try not allowing downloads and then use the method described and see how that works out. Good luck.Derek
