Logic 8.0.1 update

Post by elser » Tue Mar 11, 2008 9:01 am

I just posted this question at the 'Logic Pro Help' website but I thought I'd try it here too. I'm trying to install the 8.0.1 update but when I get to the 'install' section I get a message that says "You can not continue. There is nothing to install". When I check the Logic Pro info screen it says I'm using 8.0.0 and I don't remember ever updating. I get the same thing when I try to install the Soundtrack Pro and Mainstage updates etc.... I'm using a Dual 2.5 G5 with Tiger 10.4.11 Anybody got a clue? Thanks

O.K. found the answer on the Apple help site. If you move the Logic app to a folder other than the 'Applications' folder the installer won't find it. I have a folder called 'Music Apps' within the 'Applications' folder where I keep all that stuff. The installer won't find it in this case. See ya.
