Logic Rewire problem
Hey everyone,I have a quick question about rewiring with logic. I have it rewired and have sound playing etc., but, lets say I'm using a synth sound from reason (rewired) and a bass patch from Logic...when I switch to the bass patch and start triggering notes, the rewired synth patch from reason triggers as well. I think I have an idea of what's going on, but I don't know how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,Steve

Deselect it by clicking on it.Liam

Hey Liam,Thanks for the quick reply. I think I know what icon your talking about...its in the sequencer screen right? I remember the MIDI cable icon in Reason 2.5...in 4 it either doesn't exist or I just don't know how to make it visible.Any ideas? Thanks,Steve

Re: Logic Rewire problem
Hey Steve I only have Reason 2.5. A few here have Reason 4 and I'm sure someone will sort you out.In 2.5, you add instrument devices to the rack.At the top of the rack, each column has a name. From left to right they're In, Name, Out etc. As you scroll down the rack you'll see the instrument devices you're using in the song.Look down the 'in' column and see if there's a MIDI icon beside any instrument. If there is, you need to get rid of it by clicking on the icon. The icon will then vanish and that instrument won't trigger when you play your controller.Sorry for the bad explanation. I slept through high school english!Hope you come right!
