Logic's EXS24

Hi,I've been following the EWQLSO Gold bundle threads with great interest as hopefully that can be an option in the near future. In the meantime.....as I am new to this particular sampler, I am not sure how to achieve what I am trying to do! I'm aware that the 3rd party orchestral samples are likely to be of much higher quality but.........Taking "Peruvian Panpipes" for example (Menu = World > South American > Peruvian Panpipes) I am trying to achieve the following articulation/vibrato type effect....1) For a couple of short notes - a vibrato2) And then for a longer note... a straight note/much less vibrato The default in the EXS24 is 1) above.....despite tweaking lots of knobs and going into 'edit' etc.... I can't change the sound - is it possible to get rid of the horrible "whirling" effect on longer notes with this particular instrument? I was hoping to load 2 instruments and put them on 2 tracks. I'm new to the EXS24 so am not 'in the know'.Would very much appreciate any feedback on the above - thank you very much,Rachel
