looking for a lyricist
I can't seem to write enough good lyrics for my songs these days. I think the songs (the music that is) have a lot of potential and I'm reluctant to use mediocre lyrics, so I'm looking for someone who can put words to the new music I'm writing. You can check out some of my previous work on broadjam.com under "Jason Fisher".

Hey Jason,I listened to your songs on Broadjam. Pretty good work. If I can be so bold as to make a suggestion.... easy on the reverb and delay effects on the vocal. To me, it always screams, "Help! I'm insecure about my singing ability or lyrics, so I'm smearing them in a wash of effects."Know what I mean? We all have that tendency, but I think you'll find if you listen to what's on the radio now, nearly bone-dry vocals are pretty much the standard these days.

Hey, Bones. Not sure what type of lyrics you might be looking for. I write alot of Christian works, love songs and ballads. Main influences have been Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, Amy Grant, etc. You can check out some of my work at garageband.com , Just search up Walter W. Comer once you get in there. The URL is http://www.garageband.com/artist/walterwcomer and click on kwcomer's garage.There. Now, that's updated!Walt
I shall wipe every tear from their eyes....

hey, I bet you've got plenty of offers already, I write mainly country, here are a few examples of my writing, if you think I'd be good enough, just let me know, take care! (all these are without music)A Man Says AmenLyrics by Aaron AuthierCopyright 2008CountryI worry 'bout my neighbour JohnThat poor ol' soul just lost his jobNow he just hangs around the bar lateWaitin' for the night to waste 'nto another dayBut somewhere In the worldA man says amenWhen bad things happen, to his friendsHe's hopin', somethin' better comes to themSo they can live In peace againA man says amenI worry for the poor folks out eastIt really hurts to see them with nothin' to eatAnd a little girl somewhere In the worldIs waitin' for her miracleA man says amenWhen bad things happen to his friendsHe's hopin' somethin' better comes to themSo they can live In peace againA man says amenWe hang our heads down low, beside our bedAnd take a minute, to think about themA man says amenWhen bad things happen to his friendsHe's hopin' someday somethin' better comes to themSo they can find peace againA man says amenAmenI Want My Hair BackWritten by Aaron AuthierCopright 2008CountryWasn't that long ago when I had a healthy head of flowin' hairBut now twenty years later four growin' kids and my wifes affairI'm trying to cover this big ol' patch on my square shaped headTried not to look at it but livin' with it makes it hard to forgetI Want My Hair BackMy family has worn It all awayTen strands each for every mistake they've madeI'm In my fourties and I can't get a dateI've still got half my life to liveI Want My Hair BackWhen I went to the mall this toddler pointed my misfortune outBut hes only three years old so he can't know what he's talking aboutHe's still young enoughso people have to think he's cuteWait until he's divorced and bitter with four kids turnin' fourty twoI Want My Hair BackMy family has worn It all awayTen strands each for every mistake they've madeI'm In my fourties and I can't even get a dateI've still got half my life to liveI Want My Hair BackBroken hearts and bones, husbands & girlfriendsRun aways from home and school suspensionsI Want My Hair BackMy family has worn It all awayAnd I sure paid for their mistakesI'm In my fourties and I can't get a dateBut truth be told I wouldn't have it any other wayI've still got half my life to liveBut I still Want My Hair BackI Want My Hair BackInterstatersLyrics by Aaron AuthierCopyright 2008CountryThat job thirty miles away sure pays moreThan that one hiring right outside your front doorI know you're tryin' to get ahead just like I amPulled Into a busy gas station with my truckAnd It costs a days wage just to fill her upBut I don't care the only thing that matters Is gettin' me there, Yeah I'm just (we're just)Interstaters, everydayers / Struggling to hit that paydirtWaiting for something greater / While we work all day and get home laterUntil we get older and have to pull over / Then we can take It slower, but 'til thenWe're Interstaters, Yeah, we're InterstatersGreat grandpa told me how things used to beDriving a wagon for hours down a dusty streetBut when he got back home he was all aloneThen he met great grandma and he was rebornQuit his job and they grew up children and sweet cornAnd only god knows how many miles he wentUp and down those rows, Yeah he was (like us)Interstaters, everydayers / Struggling to hit that paydirtWaiting for something greater / While we work all day and get home laterUntil we get older and have to pull over / Then we can take It slower, but 'til thenWe're Interstaters, Yeah, we're InterstatersThe more I think about it The more I'm convinced things never changeIt don't matter when you were bornWe all struggle the sameYeah, you bet we areInterstaters, everydayers / Struggling to hit that paydirtWaiting for something greater / While we work all day and get home laterUntil we get older and have to pull over / Then we can take It slower, but 'til thenWe're Interstaters, Yeah, we're InterstatersHEY, we're InterstatersThat job thirty miles away sure pays moreThan that one hiring right outside my front doorHell said yeah (Heaven said no)Written by Aaron AuthierCopyright 2008CountryHe met her on the bad side of townShe thought she had no where left to goHe told her to climb Into the backseatHell said yeah (Heaven said no)She got In 'n he closed the doorTold her to take off her clothesThen he got out a stolen video cameraHell said yeah (Heaven said no)The devil smiled and the angel criedShe's just a child out In the dark nightDoin' what she believes she has to (to survive)Heaven knows it ain't right (It ain't right)When hell creeps In our livesShe left him for good last weekHe knows that bar Is always openAll day he'd been fightin' his demonsHell said yeah (Heaven said no)The devil smiled and the angel criedHe'd been sober a year 'til that nightDoin' what he believes he has to (to survive)Heaven knows it ain't
