Chitty! Love to see you around! Now for the song, its not my genre, but I love it! Dunno about the comments here about the duet. Seems that some people like it and some dont. I really dont know what to tell you because the thing is, I like her voice for this song but do not care for his. ( Sorry ). Maybe her voice doing the duet?

VERY GOOD SONG!!This is perfect for Lady Antebellum! You did an excellent job writing this so the 2 parts compliment each other lyrically. Duets are IMO the hardest type of song to write. Im writing one now with a singer in Georgia and it takes some real skill to pull it off and I think you have nailed this one!I really am impressed and wish you tons of luck in pitching this.Glad your feeling better too. M~

Hey, thanks Cisko, Brinda (I like seeing you around too, Brinda) and Matt for all your nice comments.....you guys really make me feel good about this song! Cisko, thanks for the compliments on the last two lines...I think they worked well too.No prob, Brinda, about not caring for the male singer....different strokes and all. And Matt, oddly enough, I didn't write this as a duet, but it came out that way after the demo. But it's a good pitch for Lady A as you say.

Great to hear you're doing well and glad you posted the result of the passing of the hat.Good engaging title and I like how you've set it in the chorus. I also would not have imagined this as a duet, but think it works fine. Some might say you're limiting your pitching ops by recording it that way, but hope for open minds!VinceThanks, Vince. Yeah, let's hope this passes through.

Oh, this is killing me...I want to hear this SO badly, but I'm in a public place (as I always have to be to be online), and they have their music turned up WAY too loud for me to hear anything else. Even WITH my earbuds in.CRAP. Hopefully, I'll be able to come back to it a little later.SO glad you are feeling better AND that you're putting Jimi through her paces. ted

Chits, Great job!! I'm digging this and I agree this definitely sound like Lady Antebellum to me too...and you're right maybe even Little Big Town. The good thing it there are more of those types of groups popping up. I saw another one just the other day...don't even know who they were. Is that Jimi singing on there? That's awesome, she has a very nice voice! Well done, I think the lyrics are very good, universal and I think you have a gem here. THAT WAS A GOOD INVESTMENT EVERYBODY!! Andy
