imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

EszterSkyler wrote:It might look better aligned center but it's definitely much easier to read aligned left. And your goals is probably for someone to read your lyrics :) So I'd go with the left alignment.

If they're reading lyrics in the gatefold/CD booklet while listening to the music, I want them to read slowly and absorb the meaning. In that scenario, I might also provide artwork/imagery, even 3D video is possible now. I can use these to reinforce my message/art. If my song is not a newscast, I don't necessarily want my meaning to be perfectly clear and easy to figure out. Sometimes the artistry is about mindshare, and I want the listener to need several listens and perhaps some additional cogitation away from the audio portion; in other words, I want to involve the listener. The more time they spend with my art, the more I become a part of their life. Being part of someone's life helps me sustain a longer career financially, but more importantly I don't have kids, only songs, so it's also a hedge against mortality. ;)
