I did do a remix and one other friend told me the same critique .....Its an older synth with string pads that can sound a hair grainy if not careful...Thanks for checking it out!!

I would say to turn the guitar volume a smidge down. It will gel with the backing track and sounds like one song. Now it sounds a bit like a sweet guitar over a backingtrack, especially in the beginning. Switch the mono button on in your daw and play with the guitar volume fader. When you found the sweet spot turn the mono knob off again and see how it feels and see if it sounds like one complete track
