p.s. Is this kind of thing an ok question to ask? I don't want to step on any feet or cross lines I don't know about. I've never needed a music lawyer before, but I'm starting to have some questions and would like to get my ducks in a row and I'm assuming that in the vast knowledge base of Taxi, there's got to be a few good tips on legal counsel.

My day gig is "consulting CFO" to businesses and I have a very large network of professional contacts among lawyers, CPAs, bankers and such here in the LA area. Just sent you a PM.

Steven: One of my brother-in-laws is a music attorney in LA, even got an interview in Music Connection magazine. His brother is also an entertainment attorney (movies) who's published 3 books about the movie industry. I'm sending you a PM. Ott
