Music Library Renaming Songs

When a music library renames a song, do we need to register it with our PRO under the new name too?

All the libraries I'm signed with register the songs they sign themselves. I would just ask them to make sure.

No. They will register it with the new title, you as the writer, themselves as the publisher. You should NOT register it yourself.

If they don't register the retitled track with PRO and the song is used on TV for instance then they won't get paid their share. I believe they are motivated to register.

Also note that some libraries don't register unless or until the song gets placed.
