My first Deal became official today!

Although this isn't a direct contact made through Taxi, all of these pieces were written for Taxi listings and wouldn't exist today had Taxi not made me focus on writing them. And they were all forwarded by Taxi, which gave me the confidence to push them on my own.This is a fairly successful library with lots of big placements who is expanding their operations from the North West and opening an office here in Louisiana. It's a big deal for me because they are utilizing Louisiana's generous Film/TV tax credits to push local musicians and to build on the tidal wave of Film productions that have made New Orleans "Hollywood South" over the past several years.I've been holding off on posting this till I got the final word of what made it into the catalogue. I'm pretty aggressive when I want to be and called the owner of the company to introduce myself. I will be listed as one of their composers available to write custom cues and have an open invitation to submit anything else I write to them. And I don't want to Jinx this yet, but I could be working for them in the next month as their office here kicks off!!Here is the email that owner of the company just sent me:Hey Bryan, here are the tracks we made active in the catalog. Send along more as you create them.."hot' means we listed it as a really special kick ass track which means they'll get pitched even more due to their unique quality / calibre. Dramatica (Accepted) Ark Wars (Accepted) Hot Hitchcocky (Accepted) Hot Lily Pads (Accepted) Hot Electronica (Accepted) Razor's Edge (Accepted) Hot Industrial (Accepted) Stalking Death (Accepted)Now I just need to keep at it. These were all forwarded by Taxi in the past seven months, so maybe I'll get a call from one of those companies also.B
