
Another thing to consider is your submission to forward ratio. If for every 15 submissions you can receive a forward, you're doing ok. Anything better than that is great.
Also, learn how to read a listing and carefully study the references. It's very difficult to predict if a previously forwarded song will be forwarded again. It depends on the differences in the listing, and it also depends on the screener and what's going on with them that particular moment.
It takes a while to get the hang of it, and even seasoned members get their share of rejection. Usually it's not because the music isn't good enough, but likely not the right fit.
