I just got my first forward. Actually 2 instrumentals were forwarded!! I am so happy! Now what? Will the company contact me? Will they contact me only if they are interested? Where does it go from here?At least somebody on this planet appreciates something I did!!

Wow!! Way to go, Celeste!!!!There is NOTHING like the feeling of that first one (or "those first ones", as the case may be... ). Congrats.(BTW, feel free to post up a link to the music so we can all tell you how well deserved the forwards were. )FYI, from this point on, TAXI has done it's job and is OUT of the picture. From here on out, it's completely in the hands of the listing party. If they're interested in your stuff, they will get hold of you when THEY are ready. This is the hard part after getting such great news. But rather than waiting around to hear something, forget about it and start writing something new. That's been the mantra around here for quite a long time now... "write, submit, repeat, write, submit, repeat..." And it's the best way to deal with the anxiety that comes with waiting. (I'm TRULY speaking from personal experience here. Oh, BROTHER!!! )But know you have reason to celebrate. Congratulations, again, kiddo.Ted

That's been the mantra around here for quite a long time now... "write, submit, repeat, write, submit, repeat..." And it's the best way to deal with the anxiety that comes with waiting. (I'm TRULY speaking from personal experience here. Oh, BROTHER!!! )I have written and recorded many songs. I am just laying in wait for the right listings. The first few I sent out were mismatched. I knew that these were right on target. Had they been returned, I would have been very discouraged. I actually have 7 more songs in a very similar style, recorded, mixed, and mastered. I'll keep my eye open for listings.

Hey celeste!Congrats on the forwards! Keep 'em comin'! Follow the words of wisdom in the posts above. I thought I had fairly good patience, but I've had to readjust that as well! ibanez468

Hi Celeste,I'm glad I ran into you today! I have a new gig partner who plays Native American flute and we aren't clicking yet. Your wonderful tunes are an inspiration.Thank you very much, and congratulations on your double forward!! That is such a sweet experience, isn't it? Allen
