My first forward!

Post by incessant » Tue Oct 14, 2008 4:25 am

Well 25 submissions and finally a forward. Definatley an ego booster. It has given me a renewed fire for my music.S080702SSMALE AND FEMALE SINGER-SONGWRITER SONGS in the wide range of Rufus Wainwright, Rachael Yamagata, Ryan Adams, Jeff Buckley, Regina Spektor, etc. are sought after by a Global Music Licensing and Distribution company, to build their catalog to promote toward a variety of worldwide licensing opportunities. This company offers a non-exclusive agreement and you must completely own your Master and Sync rights, in order to submit to this listing. This company is also extensively experienced in creative marketing and promotions, both with events and the production/distribution of a variety of CD projects. Artists/writers who are selected for their catalog will certainly benefit from the aggressive promotion of the material they represent. They want to find current and cutting edge, unsigned talent to promote and secure placements for on a global level. They're open to single songs from writers but are also really looking at the Artist(s) behind the music. Please submit two to three songs online or per CD, include photo/bio if you'd like this company to consider you as an artist - beyond just the song(s) you submit. Broadcast quality is necessary, but excellent home recordings should be just fine. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received by July 2, 2008. TAXI #S080702SS

As i've gone into pretty detailed comments on each individual song, leave it here that I'm forwarding 'Getting Down" as the most cohesive and best example of the way you put together catchy rock/blues/jazz music craft with more layered and detailed singer/songwriter type lyrics in their imagery and specific details. It's a great blend that works to greatest effect on "Getting Down.".

Thanks!I does feel good. I have low expectations as I can imagine that it could many more forwards to get anywhere. That leaves plenty of time to record!! Taxi listings and critiques, have a way of making me write and record new stuff.
