Just received a preview of this quarters SOCAN royalty statement and found out that I had music used on MONSTERS AND MYSTERIES IN ALASKA aired on the Discovery Channel!!!!!!! This would be the first track I have had aired. woooohoooooooooooooo!!!!!
For those interested it has been just over 3 years since I first started in this business and I am just starting to see some $ now!!!!!!!! It's not much, but it's a start!!!!

Hey Mike, very cool!! Congrats!! There's nothing like the first placement for building the confidence! Plus it's fun!!
It took me 3 or 4 years to get going as well, it's a slow road at first. I like to say I'm in year 6 of my 5 year plan. It just keeps rolling!

By doing a little research, I have learned that Monsters and Mysteries in Alaska was a Discovery Channel special that debuted in March 2010. I believe that throughout 2010 it was replayed a few times. From what i could find May, August and maybe September. I am excited about that!!
