Hey Cisko-Cool idea...it'll be fun to read about your (and Steve's) progress! I hope to see you succeed in your quest.Out of curiosity, what are your plans for targeting/marketing the song(s)? I see from your blog that the first one [are there to be more?] will be an urban track....do you have a particular artist in mind? How do you plan to get the track in the right hands & heard?André

Yeah Cisko, aim high!It is a very ambitious target, and a brave commitmentto announce here; but it'll give you that extra motivation, and you never know until you try.England expects!
I put the kettle on, it didn't suit me.

Damn kid, six months!?!!? Go for it though, I'm rooting you on. In fact, I'd even be glad to get down and dirty with you. If you'd like another co-writer down the stretch, I'd certainly be up for it, let me know. (I write more in the Hot AC & AC vein than Urban though).

That varies from urban to pop to AC/Hot AC for the most part.I plan on pitching some through TAXI, but I will work with my current group of publishing contacts first. I will then expand once I have a good 10 or so solid tunes to pitch to additional publishers. The track Steve and I are working is sort of aimed at an urban girl group ala Danniy Kane or PCD, but it could be tailored toward any of the more adult oriented pop startlets.Hope this answers your questions.Best,Cisko

Yeah, my point in being so ambitious is something I have learned from goal setting along the way. If you give yourself a poorly defined goal with an unlimited time table, you will almost surely lose focus and give up at the least resistance.Best,Cisko

Are you hoping for a serendipitous recording/release schedule by one or more of these artists, or do you have a plan to speed up the process?André
