My third forward - Is 15% a decent forward percentage??????

Thanks Clayton and John. I am doing the same type of research to try and zero in on the genres for certain listings. I too feel like I am making headway. I'm attempting to follow the 'write - submit - forget - repeat' thing, its hard to do the 'forget' part tho. Good luck on your journeys.

I just joined a couple of months ago, and I've had really good forward percentage (5 for 12, and waiting to hear about #13)), but have had no calls yet and have made no money as of yet as a result. I will measure my own success by whether or not I can contribute at the dinner table for my family. I'm having so much fun working with new plug ins and styles, but I have kind of reeled myself in a bit from doing this work in order to publish and release my 3rd cd of solo piano music, and second book of piano pieces. I find that I am extra motivated to complete that work because I can't wait to get back into this world. I'm very much enjoying the feedback from TAXI, and all of the positivity in the forums. I've never listened to so much music in my life, and I'm loving so much of it.



Whether I ever make any money at all through these compositions, i am glad that I joined. I'm more well rounded and appreciative of all the different kinds of music that exist and the way I watch TV, commercials, games, and films has changed forevermore.

All the best to you, and I encourage you to work more in this realm. I would like to get to the point where I am submitting a couple of hundred pieces a year. I could be wrong, but I think that those are the people that are eating food...lol.

a number of people come from Vancouver and many from Toronto area to the rally. You would have a lot of compatriots.

With 20 submissions you're still in the beginning stages, I think.

I feel that as long as the percentage is slowly going up, everything is fine.

Really studying the feedback you're getting from the screeners is worth a lot as well I think.
