My Very First Forward!!!!!
After slaving away to get better over the last year, I finally got a forward.... I doubt anything will become of it, and I have a long way to go to get near what most of you on this board can do, but baby steps I guess MikeHere's the Song:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=1Here's the listing:COMMERCIAL SOUNDING INDIE / MODERN ROCK SONGS (w/vocals) ranging from Paramore, the Foo Fighters, and Jimmy Eat World to a bit heavier bands a la Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Flyleaf, the Used, etc, are sought by an East Coast-based Music Library/Publisher that has placed dozens of TAXI songs. Previous placements include spots on NBC, Discovery, History Channel and more. Excellent performances are a must. He offers a non-exclusive deal with a reversion clause [typically 2-5 years]. Songs must be Broadcast Quality (excellent sounding home recordings are OK). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Dec. 11, 2007. TAXI # S071211MRhttp://www.taxi.com/mikewagner

The first forward, especially one that comes about as the result of a lot of hard work, is always very exciting. It has to be good music AND right for the listing so it's not easy and not always about the music itself (if good music isn't targeted well). The first link gave me a low-res version of your song but I went to your site and clicked the high quality button. Is your site set to deliver low quality streaming by default? Might want to check to see and deliver the high quality versions as the default. The screeners get the best quality no matter what the setting, that's just for us regular listeners that I mention that. The track sounds great by the way... a well deserved forward for lots of reasons. Just the first of many. Dave

Re: My Very First Forward!!!!!
Dave, Thanks for listening. I really appreciate it. I have everything set to High Quality, but for some reason the low quality files are always what gets played.. guess I will look and see if I missed something.DJ, Yeah, everything (except the drums) you hear is me, and I do all the mixing and mastering and stuff... I have gotten a lot better at mixing and mastering, but as you can hear, I still have a long way to go Mike
