Native American loops/samples?

Hi,I'm looking for Native American loops, hopefully mostly vocal, individual and tribal. I found some from Q Up Arts but I'm hoping for more options.I'm working on an uptempo track for a project where the orchestra is accentuated with vocals (chants), instruments, and percussion from around the world. It's supposed to sound adventurous and it's starting to but Native American is one very big missing piece. Thanks,Dave

You mean some like, say, aaaah.... THESE?I've got the first one I think, and there's some nice stuff there. Along with the vocals there's shakers and drums and stomps and stuff.

Dave,I think Spectrasonics "Vocal Planet " has some Native American stuff. I've had my eye on this but it still seems to be a little pricey for an Akai library that has been around a while.Chuckhttp://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VocalPlanetA/

Yeah vocal planet has some Native American vocals, they are very nice but limited. Only 2 solo singers as I recall, one Lakota and one Cocktaw. There's a decent amount of phrases, more from the Lakota guy I believe.Of course it's pricey if you only buy it for the Native vox...I wouldn't say it's one of my most used libraries, but it's come in handy a number of times.If I remember correctly you can't use the Q up stuff for library music, so that means it might be less flexible in the long run...

Guys-Here's the relevant wording from Q-Up Arts' TOS agreement:"Any use for a multi-media or music industry sound library category product must be under terms of a license agreement with Q Up Arts. For licensing information, please call Q Up Arts Content Licensing Division @ 801.746.1005 or email."So, usage in libraries isn't necessarily forbidden, but you may have to jump through some hoops to make it happen.Based on what I've heard (and used) from the Voices of Native America collections, however, it may very well be worth the effort!André

As it's turning out, it looks like the stuff from Q Up Arts is going to be my best bet for this. This is for a current project (not a library) so in the short term it'll work out fine in all respects I think.Thanks for the info!Dave

That isn't saying you can't use it for production music, it's saying you can't make another sound library out of it. You know, Dave W's Indian Beats Loops.
