Need a lyric for a Celtic Tune.

Post by michael11 » Tue Jun 26, 2012 5:20 pm

Hi,

I’m looking for a lyricist to help me on a tune.

I already have a lyric but I can’t contact the lyricist after about two years of trying.

The title is mine,Someday I’ll Return but everything else has to change.

I want the lyric to be Scotland specific but not a specific place in Scotland.

Or just a generic diaspora theme.

I’ve got a shot at a track for SuBo.

You can hear the track on my website.

Click on Tunesflash.

Thanks,

Mick.

Thanks Len!

I didn't realise she was known on your side of the pond.

Lol! Well she must have made a big splash for me to have heard of her. I kid my grandma, her maiden name is Boyle, that she must be related, that that is where we all get our good looks, from the Boyle side!

I only know three things about Scotland, I have a Scottish Terrier, Scotch roses, and that Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull lives there somewhere, lol!

Nae faer o wis, twa kinda wye a haand’s turn, jost to hadd oot a langer,
(have no doubt, it was a somewhat easy task, just to keep from being bored. )

Credit to a couple of online Scot language dictionaries, and inspiration from Robert Burns.
