need mix help on classic RnR tune - updated mix again

The intro and verse sort of remind me of Pearl Jam (who I´m sure where influenced by the Petty references mentioned) from one of their basic rock tunes, and I like it a lot!
One thing, I feel the bass line in the chorus changes the mood into something very different, I would prefer a more aggressive (for lack of better word) bass line, but big grain of salt on that.
It´s a great composition and I think it captures what you were aiming for.
