I could follow the story line but i had to read it like a written story not read it like a song.I never do good working with long sentences in songs. the bafoogle my mind. i'm too simple.I'm not a screener, but i've repaired screen doors so i can say i can't really argue with the screener. You can take a breath, step back, fart, whatever and then laugh for a few minutes and get real. It's only a song and you are capable of doing with it what you need to, to make it work.Best of everything.Doc

This is the message I get from the start:You are so in love with this girl, it seems you cannot notice anyone else...As the song progresses I am torn between two schools of thought:1.) You fell in love with this one girl who just is NOT there for you OR...2.) In the past you had fallen in love with a girl who broke your heart. Today, however, you've fallen in love with a totally new and different girl who IS the real deal. Where was this REAL girl when you had fallen in love with the first girl who broke your heart? Why couldn't SHE have been the FIRST girl you fell in love with: if you had met her back then the first girl would have never had your heart.Just a tad ambiguous: I had to read and reread and reread the lyrics. The point of a song, however, is to get the BASIC message across on the first listening.
