For my latest invaluable production tip...
If you're using Cubase which has the 'Stereo Enhancer' plugin (located in 'Surround..') - you can use this as an Insert Effect on the Stereo Out bus and by clicking the 'mono' button on the plugin interface you have MONO monitoring.
Very handy for monitoring in MONO.
You probably all know about that...but I just found out. Pretty cool...

Need to monitor in MONO in Cubase? Neat little method.

Thanks!
I was reading something the other day about how checking the mix in Mono can really help. I certainly didn't know about this. I'm [still] on Cubase 5, but I think that feature is there.

Cool - a pleasure!
Yeah AFAIK, version 5 has that plugin - in fact if I remember correctly the person who posted that in the forum I was looking at was using C5. I'm not sure how I remember stuff like that and can't remember what I went upstairs for ...
cheers
