Needed: More patriotic rockers forwarded!

Here's one I wrote last May according to formula, bridge in correct place, etc. Writing this way isn't hard, folks, but it does get boring to my mind after too many. Listener gave me all 7s and 8s, except for 6s on production; It loved the lyrics. Just said my Berryesque tune needing updating. (Emulation, not thievery.) I'm sure guitar breaks were too long, knowing what I know now. But not sure why the guitar phaser effect at 40 percent depth wasn't different enough. It's a shame, though, because I really thought about the timing of this song. It's counterintuitive, when you think about it. Times are tough in the USA, but I wanted to be positive, for a change, after experiencing something in a foreign country. These songs worked in the late-70s early '80s when patriotism was needed. I remember Charlie Daniels doing something. We need these songs again! Oh, well, felt the need to redeem. Myspace.com/jkellyjrI’M STILL GLAD (I COME FROM THE USA)(Words and music by John Kelly Jr. Copyright 2008) Base on true story.I was on a train in Osaka, Japanpacked in like the sardines in a cantwo old people struggled intwo jumped up and I just grinnedcause those two kids were both AmericansOh, say! (Verse 2) Well, my son, my son, tell me, please what’s up with those seated Japanese? He said, ‘They’re really quite polite, but considerate, well, that’s not quite the same, and that’s just Grade A USA. (Chorus) And I say I’m still glad I come from the USA You know I’m still glad I come from the USA There’s bad people everywhere, and I know here we have our share, but I’m still glad I come from the USA. We’re gonna be OK! (Break)(Bridge) Well, there’s been jackboots getting spit-shined by the blood of sacrifice, it’s plain to see They’ll get theirs somewhere, I swear, but now we have to get right, get back to loving life and liberty (Verse 3) I was on a plane from New York to San Fran out the window was my movie on demand scene stealers each region in living color, two thumbs’ up, still on location — America. (Chorus/refrain) And I say I’m still glad I come from the USA You know I’m still glad I come from the USA There’s good people everywhere, and look around we have our share, and I’m still glad I come from the USA .
