Neural DSP - Nolly Plugin

So, I have been using the Plini and Nolly Plugin from Neural DSP for a couple of months... I'm personally floored but the sounds and versatility.

Anyone here has any feedback on how and when they use their guitar plugins?

I've been relying more and more on them lately!

I downloaded the demo of both these recently and was impressed - think I will buy the Plini.

Neural DSP do seem to have captured some extra complexity/realness.
If you turn off effects the raw amp/cab tone is pretty amazing for a plugin.

Damn... I bought Amplitube Max today because I've wanted it for a while and they're having a sale. I got it for $166 and there are some tones in there that I really love and will put to great use.

But I happened to see this thread and I went and checked out these plug-ins just for the hell of it. Never heard of them before but Wow!

I downloaded the free 14 day trial of the Nolly amp and I'm gonna try the others too but I'll probably end up buying the Nolly.

The sure did! What i'm really eager to take the time and look into is their I.R (Impulse Resonses). Apparently that's a strong point as well.

Amplitude is awesome as well! They have some great add-ons, pedals and effects that can compliment a great sound.

I'm planning on going back through some of my previously recorded tracks in Logic and simply re-amping them by changing the plug-ins from the stock Logic ones to these and then remixing the tracks. I did that with a few tracks when I got Guitar Rig 5 Pro and it really beefed up the sound. I like Guitar Rig a lot, but mostly for the clean, highly effected ambient presets.

The reason I started looking into 3rd party guitar plugins was that I was having issues with the noisegate in Logic. I don't know why but on every high gain setting I would get a horrible screech every time I would mute the strings.]

The GUI on the Neural Archetype amps is really laid out well and has a great aesthetic to look at. The noisegate is easily accessible and simple to use and it works great too. Thanks again for turning me on to this range of products!

I'm not a guitarist, but I've heard amazing work done using those plugins.
It's making me consider getting those, and start learning to riff!
I'll keep an eye on them, and maybe get them when they're on sale (if any)

Just last month, there were sales done all all of their range (50% sale if i recall)! Am sure they'll get back to it soon.
As for the riffing... Let me know when you'd like to kickstart with a lesson!

Love the Neural plugins! I use them on pretty much all of my rock and metal tracks. I’ve been using the NTS the most lately but really wanna check out the Plini.

Also, for great rock and metal bass tone their Darkglass/Parallax plugins are awesome too. If you’re looking for a cheaper option for the bass stuff, Aurora DSP has a great one called, Mammoth. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Definitely worth looking into if you haven’t already.

Anybody spent any time trying out the Cory Wong model amp plugin? That one looked really interesting for its clean sounds-- I'm thinking next week I'll probably do a a trial download of it and see how it works on some tracks.
