I can't decide if I like the vocal as is - where it fades into the background and you really can't tell what you are singing, or if you should get those vocals out there riding over the track. Hmmm - tough one.Let's see what Patrick comes up with.Best,Cisko

IG,Good job keeping the mood throughout. I found it easy to listen to, alternately calling my attention and letting me trance. Felt like I was flying between those nebulas. Whatever Patrick does with the vocal, I'd probably keep it understated.V>

Re: New IG88 Track (WIP)
I'm listening it to it now. I'm finding that over the past few years I'm really loving this style of music more and more. I personally don't write this style, but find myself listening to it more and more. To my ears it sounds very professionally done. I'm trancing out right now as it plays. I personally don't mind the vocals being buried as in this style of music I really hear vocals as just another layer of instrumentation. Really don't even care what you are saying. (don't take that as an insult cause its not) I have no idea what the companies Taxi represents are wanting in this style so can't be of anymore help than to say, I really dug it. Nice mix, nice sense of space and great control of your engineering.B

cool yeah I'll take a stab.. vince I agree the vocals should be understated which is an interesting perspective to take when creating a vocal.. but it forces me to think more like an instrument which is cool.

You hit it spot on with the vocals being just another layer of instrumentation, that is exactly what I was going for. Kind of distant and muffled in space, never ending. I had a friend on another forum call the Genre "Dream Pop" I really liked that. That might be the direction I will start heading and calling it that. I have not found a particular listing on TAXI for anything like this. I mostly just post my work here to get feedback from all of the talented engineers and producers. It really helps to get ears from people who are listening with a fresh and different perspective then my own or people who listen to electronica daily. Thank you very much for your time

This helps a lot to know that it was smooth and easy to listen to. i did not want the vocals to jump out too far. I am very exited to hear what Patrick does with it he is a very talented musician. Thank you very much for your time

I was very impressed with what you did on Planet Parenthood, which by the way is going to be in the mastering phase with the Netlabel IDMF next month. I hope that having a different approach to this song then traditional vocals will be a fun experience for you. Thanks
