Whether you like it or not please tell me why. You're not going to hurt my feelings if you're harsh with it. Only one song up. Anyhow check it out if you would.http://www.myspace.com/skryingrock

Welcome aboard.I'm hearing some "Tool" and "Disturbed" influences and I'm digging it. I like the one song you have cue'd up in the player. If I had anything to say about the recording, the vocals are a bit too loud. It would have been cool to hear a "wall of guitars" wrapping around the vocals stronger. I love the aggression!Good to have some more rockers on the boards.B

Agree with Bryan on the vocal levels and more guitar (at times). Also thought they might be a bit too wet (reverb) for this genre. Liked the interplay and stereo separation on the backing vocals.Vince

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to get back to the studio for a little remix. Idea... when you're saying to much reverb are you talking on the guitar or on the vox? Thank again for the feedback!!

Hey Brian, welcome! I liked the tune but thought the recording didn't quite do it justice. It wants to be heavy but somehow sounded small to me. The drums especially sounded small. I think having a pro mixer involved could help things out, maytbe with an example of how you want it to sound. Thought the performances were solid and I liked the song itself I just wanted it to be bigger and heavier. Hope that helps, sorry i can't be more specific but I'm not an engineer/producer. Good luck! eo.

I'm gonna have to ditto the others. This song really needs to have the vocals wrapped in loud ass guitars and drums. Sounds like everything is there, it just needs mix/production work. whenever the vocals get this far out in front it's easy for the mix to loose power.

Ok i hit the studio today and did a remix brought the vox back and the guitar band drums forward more. Let me know what you guys think of it. Oh man band and I are going on an internet radio station on Tuesday for a live interview so I need to know if you guys think its good enough. I feel good about it but outside critical opinions are extremely helpful. Thanks again for your guys input.
