New Member - Johnny - Saying Hello

I went to my first Road Rally in November and loved it. I joined Taxi in December and I have been poking around in the forums. I didn't really have anything great to say. So, I haven't posted yet. I am giving up on a great first post and I will just post this instead - Hello.

I am excited to work hard and see what 2018 brings. Whether they be songs or cues, I hope to complete 100 pieces of music by the end of the year - that is just shy of 2 a week. That goal will push me - but with discipline - I should be able to make it.

I learned more than I can remember at the Rally and more than my note-taking could keep up with. I guess that means I will have to return next year and tighten up those notes. Still, even with the information that did stick, I have plenty of new things to think about. So thanks to Taxi and thanks to its gracious and supportive members. It is exciting to pursue a dream together.

I have lots to learn. So, I'm sure I will be poking around in these forums and reading some of the books that Taxi recommends.

P.S. for those who might not have met Johnny at the Rally, he was a guest of mine, and lives about 10 minutes away from me here outside of Boise Idaho. He's one cool cat!
