Hello Everyone,
My name is Eric. I specialize in electronic music. I mostly use Ableton Live and MaxMSP, but I do some stuff in Logic and Pro Tools as well. I play drums, bass, guitar, and piano. If you are a fellow nerd like me you may consider the computer an instrument, too. :D I have been a taxi member since October, and it has completely changed the way I write music. I went to the Rally, and have to say that I enjoyed the friendliness of all the people I met there. All the advice from so many people really helped me change for the better, which led me to getting two forwards in January. I would like to thank everyone for being so helpful and giving me the possibility to make a career at songwriting. Here are a couple of links to my stuff. The first two are songs that have been forwarded. The last is a link to a youtube video of me performing an EDM piece freestyle. I use loops to make the song from scratch. I start with no pre-recorded material. I am also open to collaborating with people. I am mostly looking for some singers to add vocals to my instrumental tracks, but am open to ideas from anybody.

A lot of us are still chasing our first forward, so congrats on that!

welcome eric and congrats on your forwards. had a quick listen on soudncloud and guess that those tracks will probably get placed, as there is a big demand for songs in the style of skrillex, nero, porter robinson etc.

Hi Eric

Listen to don't dub me. wow, what a ride.

lI don't know anything about electronic music, but I really enjoyed that. Sounds like a wah pedal was used.

Welcome

Paul

You can't make music fun..... It is fun! You can however make it a drag.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I did not use a wah pedal on that one, although a plug-in on Ableton live is similar to one. It's called a formant filter, so it's pretty much the software version of a wah pedal.

Welcome to the forum! :D

You've already had the Rally experience so you know what that is. This is where we get our fix until the next Rally
