Nice piece. I like the overall composition and think it captures the mood of the references. To me and I am not a professional engineer the violins and strings overall sound a bit bitty - meaning the high frequencies where very noticeable and stood out from the piece and to me took away from the fine composition. So I would suggest working on the mix a bit more and perhaps A/B it with the references. That aside I enjoyed it and great job -
