thank you Liam!it started out and tried to end as a folk song, so although harmony crossed my mind (always does) just didn't seem right. who knows, i'll end up recording this again in 5 years! all the best, warren

Hey Warren,I'm on my way to the songwriter's cruise and I'll be outta Internet for a week (unless I want to pay a buck a minute or some such) but I wanted to listen to your tune and leave you some comments before I left. Just want to say that it's good to hear you singing one of your own in a finished form, and you did a fine job. You have a real way with chords, and the WH sound comes through, no matter who's singing it. The girlfriend gives it two thumbs up too.See you in a week.Cam

hi cam!if you get this before you leave, i was JUST (i swear!) telling my wife about your cruise, but was fuzzy on the details, but got the important stuff down: cruise--song pitching potential--leaving from someplace in texas i think,--no where for the f-ers to run, unless they jump off-- and you were taking your sweetheart!! good luck, pitch them your change up, it'll screw them up big time....hmmm. and let me know how it turns out,,,,,and if you're reading this AFTER, i hope you had a good time!! and if your reading this DURING--STOP IT!!(and remember, always split aces, and 8's...(you may write that tune while you cruise my friend!!)all the best, warren

A bigger production would be nice but this song in its currents state sans the voc ess artifacts is minimalist and charming and intimate. Charming aside from the fact that someone gets road killed of course. If you do decide to beef up the production perhaps instrumentation similiar to Union Station would fit well.

I'm really digging this man. I said it last time, but I LOVE THIS STORY. I love the double meaning of the hook. The production sounds pretty tight. I'm no production whiz but the vocal does have a flanger/shakiness to it that seemed okay but could be better.Keep it up man.Andy
